Created in 2007 by Carla Fendi to promote cultural events. Chairwoman Maria Teresa Venturini Fendi directed the foundation’s interests towards science, envisioned as intuition, research, and a new form of art. The Foundation offers sponsorships, grants scholarships and donations. As of 2010, it is Spoleto’s Festival dei 2Mondi’s Main Partner.
